About the cottage
Located on an island on Lower Stoney Lake, this newer (built in 2010), three season cottage, is nestled among mature pine trees, ensuring privacy, while offering gorgeous views of the lake. Its prime location provides easy access to all of the Lower Stoney amenities – just a minute boat ride to the Church on the Rock and Juniper Island, a two minute boat ride to Carveth’s Marina and Harbour Town, and not too far from the Lost Channel. There is a large (25’ x 11’) screened in porch, overlooking the sparkling lake, where you can relax and enjoy the evenings.
INTERIOR DESCRIPTION
This newer cottage features an open-concept floor plan, vaulted ceilings throughout, fully equipped kitchen and wood burning stove. There are two large bedrooms and two bathrooms. The master ensuite features an over-sized shower and cast iron claw foot bathtub. French doors off of the great room lead to the large screened in porch, with gorgeous views of the lake, great for dining, relaxing or curling up with a good book.

EXTERIOR DESCRIPTION
Large mature pine trees surround the cottage, ensuring privacy. There are panoramic views from the north and south. The south side offers scattered island views and a quiet waterfront. The screened-in porch overlooks the south side and there is also a large dock by the water on the south side. The north side offers scattered views of the open channel and sunsets. The lot is elevated, with natural vegetation, granite outcrops and open areas to sit and relax. From the cottage to the lake, it’s gently sloped. The water is shallow entry with some weeds. You can swim off the rocks and islands in the lake, which are close enough to paddle to.

High Season/Summer: $1,500.00/wk. ($1,900.00/wk with rental of 14’ steel boat with 15 H.P. Johnson motor)
Mid-Season (May, June, September & October – 2 night min.): $1,100.00/wk. or $300.00/night
Long Weekend: $1050.00
A 30% deposit is due to confirm rental dates at time of booking (preferred method is Interac e-Transfer).
Outstanding balance + $500.00 Security Deposit is due 28 days (4 weeks) prior to checking in.
The Security Deposit will be returned to you by Interac e-Transfer upon check out or once the cottage and property have been inspected by the owner or his designate (within 3 business days).
Renters to bring own linens and towels.
Renters will need their own boat to get to the cottage. If you do not have your own boat, the marina (Carveth’s Marina www.carvethsmarina.com) offers a water taxi every day between 9:00am – 6:00pm at a cost of $18.00 per trip (renter to confirm with marina). Week long boat rentals are also available at Carveth’s Marina and McCrakens Landing (www.mccrackenslanding.com ). Alternatively clients can rent the owners boat at $400.00/wk.
