About the cottage
| This 4-bedroom cedar chalet on Lake Peninsula is ideal for family fun. It’s location is superb, both winter and summer, as it’s a lakefront property situated steps away from Hidden Valley Ski Resort, and just around the corner from both Deerhurst and Grandview’s excellent professional golf courses. The cottage is a split-level design with large windows overlooking the lake and a deck, making this a great spot for relaxing. The interior is beautiful cedar with an open concept kitchen and living room area. Two of the bedrooms boast 3 single bunk beds each, providing lots of sleeping accommodation especially for the kids. One master with queen-sized bed, and two queen-sized futons make up the rest of the beds. After a day of skiing, what better way to relax than in front of the fireplace after you’ve warmed up in the large sauna. The water depth at the end of the dock is 4 feet and the lake bottom is sand which makes it great for splashing around and swimming. Year round activities: Summer: world-renowned Deerhurst and Grandview golf courses, tennis (indoor/outdoor), swimming, all water sports, hiking, mountain biking, canoeing. Winter: downhill/cross country skiing, access to many snowmobiling trails, tobogganing, ice skating, ice fishing, and dogsledding.
