THE BEACH HOUSE (CAPTAIN’S AND FIRST MATES QUARTERS)

This spacious  Beach House is comprised of 2 units… the CAPTAIN’S  on one side and the FIRST MATE’S on the other , similar to a duplex… each side is private with no shared amenities. A privacy wall separates the 2 units.                                                                                                       

The CAPTAIN’S  offers 2 bedrooms. each with a queen size bed and fold down single.  large bathroom  with soaker tub and separate shower, full kitchen, covered deck with gas barbecue and living room with wood burning fireplace.. very luxurious, beautifully decorated. It can accommodate 4 guests very comfortably.

The FIRST MATE’S offers 2 bedrooms, each with a queen size bed and fold down single. claw foot bath with separate shower, full kitchen, covered deck with gas barbecue, living room with gas fireplace. Cozy, bright, and decorated in warm inviting colors. The Mate’s can accommodate up to 4 guests.

Or perhaps you would prefer the privacy, space and comfort of the entire home.. easily done! The privacy wall opens up to French Doors providing access to both units, creating a lovely large vacation home. The space can accommodate up to 8 guests with all the amenities needed to provide the finest in west caost accommodation! 

We have a number of women’s group that visit on a yearly basis, enjoying the privacy of the entire home and hot tub. They do have fun! The facilities lend themselves to the preparation of a great pot luck dinner and the ambiance of space to allow everyone their own private time. Hike beach trails,  sway in a hammock, watch a “chick flick” have morning coffee in the hot tub ,meditate by a crackling wood fire  or just watch the shimmering waters over the Juan de fuca Strait. The choice is here!

There are shops and galleries in Sooke that may have that perfect painting that will remind you of your visit to our Wonderful West Coast. Experience the salt spray from the bow of a racing Whale Watching Zodiac plying the waters to view the Pods of Orcas, Gray and Humpback Whales. Tours leave Sooke on a regular basis. This is a world class Fishing area. There are several Charter Boat companies in the area fishing for Salmon, Halibut and Crab. Bring home your catch and barbecue on your private covered deck overlooking the sea.

This romantic setting with fresh flowers, candlelight, fireplaces and hot tub is perfect for Honeymoons, Birthdays, Anniversaries and those other special occasions. We have a number of “women’s groups” who visit us yearly. They do have fun!
