Hope and Lily’s Hideaway

A beautiful, recently renovated cottage approximately 1800 square feet with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and all the amenities to make your vacation ideal.

The Family Room

The main floor of the cottage boasts an open concept living room, kitchen and dining room.
The living room is equipped with a beautiful wood burning stove, a 42 inch flat screen plasma tv, with DVD, VCR and satellite. There is also a small sound system that allows you to play music directly from your IPOD. There are two large couches, one with a relaxing chaise lounger.

 Kitchen

The cottage is open concept with the kitchen opening out to the living room with a breakfast bar complete with stools.
The kitchen is equipped with a full size fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher as well as a coffee maker, toaster oven
and all the pots, pans and cooking utensils you could ever need. There is a breakfast table in the kitchen that allows for cozier, casual meals.

Dining Room/ Mudroom/BBQ

The kitchen also opens out to the dining room which seats up to 10 people comfortably at the beautiful harvest table.

The dining room has sliding double doors which open out to the side patio where there is a full size propane BBQ available.

Just off the kitchen there is a complete mud room and laundry room with a full sized washer and dryer for your convenience.

Main Floor Bed and Bath

There are three bedrooms on the main floor along with a newly renovated bathroom.
The main bedroom has a beautiful view of the lake and a queen size bed.
The second room has a twin over double bunk bed.
The third room also has a queen size bed.
All linens, duvets and pillows can be provided for your stay.

 The main floor bathroom has been recently renovated with a beautiful walk in shower.
A linen closet provides you with all of the towels you need for both inside and out.

The Loft

An amazing feature of the cottage is the loft – especially for families with kids!
There are two single captains beds upstairs in the loft that make a perfect kids retreat.
For entertainment there are kids toys, a bookcase filled with a great variety of books and a small tv with dvd that allows kids to
watch their own movies.
For the more competitive, there is a full size air hockey table in the loft along with a futon couch for spectators to watch the
game!
Finally, there is a second bathroom with full shower in the loft area.

Just off the living room at the front of the cottage is the muskoka room. It is a large, completely screened in room that overlooks the
lake. It is the perfect place to enjoy dinner while watching the sunset.
Outside just to the side of the cottage is the kids bunkie. It makes a great place for kids to play and older kids to camp out.
There is also a relaxing hammock between the bunkie and cottage which lets you relax with a great view of the dock and waterfront.
To the far right of the cottage there is also a firepit, which is great for campfires and ghost stories.

The Waterfront

The waterfront is great for both older and younger cottagers.
For younger kids there is an area of the waterfront that is quite sandy and very shallow which is perfect to stand/ sit and play in.
At the end of the dock the water depth is about 8 feet. The lake reaches a depth of about 25 feet by the time you swim from
the dock out to the swim platform about 20 feet away.
Also on the dock are lounge chairs and muskoka chairs for your relaxation.

For those looking for some time on the water, we are happy to provide a few ways to explore the lake.
There are two canoes available as well as a paddle boat.
We also provide our fishing boat with its 9.9 motor for your use.
For your safety there are a number of life jackets available for use in a variety of sizes ranging from toddler to adult
