With two separate cozy units, this log cabin can be enjoyed by a few couples or small families, enabling each group to have their own private space, or just rent one unit for small groups of 2 to 4.  For groups larger family groups, we also have a three bedroom cottage rental right next door to the log cabin that can accommodate an additional 6 to 8 guests.  Please contact us for complete details.

Journey’s End Log Cabin

This early 1800’s log cabin has been lovingly restored from the ground up by the current owner, and offers you a chance to experience some of Ontario’s history with all the comforts of home!  We offer rentals alll year long!

This log cabin offers two separate, cozy, non-smoking units, each with a full kitchen, bathroom, one bedroom with a queen size bed, and a sofa bed in the living room to sleep up to a total of four people per unit. Each unit also features a beautiful gas fireplace and back veranda. 

Located at the end of a dead end street in a waterfront residential area, this cabin is nestled on the bank of White’s Creek at the mouth of Lake Simcoe.  A path to the left of the cabin leads down a hill, along the creek to a large grassy park-like area and large sandy beach complete with lawn chairs, a fire pit, a selection of canoes, kayaks, and paddle boat and a volleyball net. All for your summer enjoyment, and not to mention the beautiful Westerly view of those amazing summer sunsets!  The water is a shallow entry with some rocks, and you can walk quite a way out into the lake before it gradually becomes deeper.  A perfect play area for children!  The original CNN railway runs close by, and you will see and hear the trains as they pass.  Quite a novelty to some!

 Beavertonhas lots to offer for the hard water fisherman. Easy lake access, lots of free parking, restaurants, live bait and several reputable fish hut operators. We can take care of reserving an ice fishing package for your group with Tim Hales Fish Huts, upon request.

1.5 hours from Toronto & 30 minutes to Casino Rama.

Please note: The beach area and the garage at the yellow cottage are shared amongst all guests of the log cabin and yellow cottage.
