A bright, fresh and meticulous living space with 12 foot vaulted pine ceilings in living room, the cottage provides a flat screen TV, wifi and an android box for Netflix, plus DVD player. Cottage sits close to the water, nestled in a peaceful bay on a nicely treed lot, affording a great view of the lake from front deck or dock. Our delightful abode will comfortably accommodate 5 (6 with the pullout). Other amenities include propane BBQ, fire pit, firewood supplies, baseboard heaters and a landline. Situated on a quiet laneway known as Foxhollow, a short walk will take you to the back bay, an endless source of entertainment for the kids with its abundance of ducks and frogs. The Big Kennisis Lake Cottage Rental comes with a canoe, and pets are welcome with prior approval.

South of Alqonquin Park and just 3 hrs. north of Toronto, we are only minutes from the 85,000 acre Haliburton Forest and Wildlife Reserve with groomed trails for biking & hiking, ‘A Walk in the Clouds’ canopy tour and world-famous Wolf Observatory. And only 25 minutes from shopping, golf courses and live entertainment. Kennisis Lake has a marina and small store for all your last minute supplies and watercraft needs and family restaurant at the Wildlife Reserve.
