Peaceful Haven

This 1400 sq’ cottage can sleep up to 12 people when all rooms are used.  We have a private boat dock on Netley Creek which is more like a lake than a creek with swimming, boating, fishing, tubing, wake boarding, skiing, duck hunting, goose hunting and in the winter ice fishing, snowmobiling and cross-country skiing.

 The cottage has an open concept area with lake view living, dining room and kitchen with beamed ceilings.  The kitchen offers an island with dishwasher and double sink, has a double wide fridge and dual gas and electric range.  The living room has a 48″ smart TV and gas fireplace with cozy seating.  The cottage offers central air, 2.5 baths and washer and dryer.  The spacious master bedroom on the main floor has a queen bed, antique armoire, wicker end tables, settee and hamper and also a ceiling fan.  The spare room also on the main offers a double bed and closet.

The upper level offers 3 bedrooms – the Beach Room with a double antique bed and window with a view of the creek.  This bedroom opens up to the Creek Room to provide the feeling of an upper suite should the Creek Room not be used for sleeping; the Dock Room is more of a rustic style room with double bed and view of the creek.  The Marsh Room has two single beds – a great room for kids or adults.  All the above bedrooms have closets.  The Creek Room is more of a den and offers a futon and TV for watching movies.  It can be closed off to provide privacy if needed or opened to the Beach Room.

We have two full baths and one 1/2 bath.  The main full bath offers a tiled walk in shower, heated flooring, unique dresser converted to vanity with one of a kind sink. The two piece bath also on the main floor is for beach breaks and has a unique “plumbing pipe” vanity.  The upper 4 piece bath has a one piece tub and paper bag floor.

Our kitchen has plenty of dishes, pots, pans, coffee maker, blender – pretty much everything you would need for a stay.

To make your stay more comfortable we include WiFi!  Outside you can laze in the hammock, make sand castles in the sand, have a bonfire with our fire pit, cook a meal on the BBQ and dine on two good size picnic tables or cruise right onto ice in the winter for fishing or sledding.

This whole set up is great for family gatherings, a small get away or as a base for hunting, fishing, ice fishing, snowmobiling or skiing.  You need only supply firewood, some bedding (or ask for package), towels and food.
