Rice Lake Cedars – 2 Cottages for Rent

We are offering a 4 bedroom and a 2 bedroom cottage for rent at the former Cedar Cove Resort. We have coin-laundry facilities on site. Included with each unit are new gas BBQ’s, fire pits, picnic tables and ample parking among mature shade trees. Furthermore, an in ground swimming pool, sandy shallow beach, children’s playground, volleyball, badminton, 11 acres of nature trails and natural pond. Dock and water launch access, Fish freezing and screened fish cleaning station. The cottages are located in the village of Harwood. A bait shop and general store is walking distance to the cottages as well as a newly renovated family restaurant. These cottages are 15 minutes drive from Cobourg.
Each unit has new roofing, new windows and doors as well as new vinyl exterior siding. Each cottage has a fully equipped kitchen complete with coffee maker, fan, microwave, colour T.V., DVD player, plenty of dishes, glasses, pots and pans as well as cutlery stove/oven and a full size fridge. Large decks and walk out to a liberal yard. We supply blankets and pillows but you can bring your linens. Linens can be provided if it is difficult to bring them.
The 4 bedroom has a play loft for the kids and a lovely view of a natural pond with fireflies,herons, ducks, turtles bull frogs and spring peepers to serenade you. We have just recently added a new 25 x 16 deck in the back (pond view) and a 25 X 8 foot deck in the front facing the firepit. A 14 by 10 foot gazebo is located on this deck to provide an outdoor dining room that is sheltered and screened in.
The 2 bedroom is winterised and air conditioned and has an excellent view of Rice lake from the large deck or front window.
