ALL CEDAR, WATERFRONT, THREE-FAMILY COTTAGE

A comfortable three-family, all cedar, lakefront cottage, that sleeps 12 comfortably in beds and has two toilet facilities.

Enjoy the lake view and gorgeous sunsets, while sitting on Muskoka chairs on our 38 foot screened verandah (which is fabulous for enjoying the night, but keeping out mosquitoes!) 

There are seven boats included for your enjoyment, which include a 5-person paddle boat, a canoe, 3 kayaks (one is a 2-person sea kayak), a12-foot aluminum and a 14-foot aluminum. All of the equipment and life jackets are included for your use.

Our lake is a three lake chain, made up of Twelve Mile Lake, Little Boshkung Lake and Big Boshkung Lake. There is great fishing, whether you want to cast out off the dock or go further in one of our boats. The species found in our lakes include lake trout, small and largemouth bass, yellow perch, lake whitefish and pike.

There is 100 feet of waterfront with beach or very shallow entry depending on water level at that time of year; a firm sandy bottom and a slope to a deeper swimming area.

We have two swim rafts stationed in the lake until Labour Day; one with a water slide to cool off and plunge into the lake, and the other is a great platform to jump off of, but also a haven for sun-worshippers with built-in lounge chairs and cupholders.

Our property has a firepit to sit at  and enjoy (firewood is included), a small playground for the kids that includes a swing, slide and “Fort Reid” (a child-size play cabin), a hammock that is hung between the trees, and a log swing to relax and enjoy the lake view or to feed the chipmunks.

Inside our all cedar cottage, are four bedrooms, a floor-to-ceiling stone, wood fireplace in the family/common area, a kitchen/dining area, a bathroom with a full-size tub and shower and a 38 foot screened verandah on the lakeside of the cottage. There is also satellite television, a blu ray/DVD player, an IPOD dock, a VCR and an extensive collection of DVDs for all to enjoy. There is also a closet full of board games and playing cards.

Nearby are many premiere golf courses, great restaurants, shopping and antique store
