Very clean, comfortably furnished and well equipped cottage on peaceful spring fed lake.  Esson Lake boasts excellent fishing with Laketrout and Smallmouth Bass, along with great swimming in weedfree, sandy/rocky bottom waters.  The cottage property has a gentle slope down to the waters edge with a step in shoreline.  There is a campfire pit with comfy chairs for listening to the many loons that inhabit the lake.  A canoe, kayak and paddle boat are there for exploring the lake.  A nearby boat launch allow easy access for those who wish to bring their own boat and tie up to the cottage dock.  Great shopping exists in nearby towns of Bancroft, and Haliburton.  Local village of Wilberforce is only 8 minutes away and has everything you need, close at hand.
